Valley FC offers several programs throughout the year for players to participate in.

TRYOUTS

Tryouts are held each year in May to evaluate players and place them on the team that is most appropriate for their age and skill level.

SUMMER PROGRAM

Summer Program Overview

Our Summer Program is designed to prepare young athletes for the Fall season, as well as help high school players get ready for their high school season. Led by professional coaches, the program includes skill-building sessions and intense training to ensure players are in top form.

As part of the program, we will be signing up teams for two Summer Tournaments, providing valuable competitive experience.

This program is open to both Valley FC members and non-members, so feel free to invite friends or teammates who might be interested!

 

PREMIER PROGRAM

About Premier Soccer

VALLEY FC  Premier Program is designed for Boys and Girls ages U8-U19. The Premier Program provides a positive environment for players who demonstrate the necessary talent, skill, commitment, good sportsmanship, and desire to continue to develop and compete at the highest levels.  It requires travel to local, regional, or out-of-state games and tournaments, for players and their families. Individual teams compete at various levels depending on the competitive needs of the players involved. 

​Premier teams are formed in the spring of each year through open tryouts and evaluations. Players are accepted to their team from July 1 to June 30th the following year but are committed to a ten-month (10-month) playing season (1 September - 1 June).

 

DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

VALLEY FC  DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY

Join us for an exciting and skill-focused training experience at Valley FC Academy, where your soccer abilities will reach new heights!

Training will be led by Professional Coaches who are dedicated to developing players' skills through structured, high-quality sessions. Our coaches will focus on:

  • Technical Skills: Mastering the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, and shooting.
  • Game-Specific Techniques: Developing the skills that make a difference on the field.
  • Individual Growth: Targeted drills and personalized feedback to elevate each player's game.

VALLEY FC SPEED,AGILITY & QUICKNESS

Speed

  • Training Focus: Speed training usually focuses on improving running mechanics, power, and explosiveness.
  • Examples: Sprints, flying sprints (build up to max speed), resistance sprints, and hill sprints.

Agility

  • Training Focus: Agility drills often target reaction time, footwork, and lateral movements.
  • Examples: Cone drills, ladder drills, shuttle runs, T-drills, and 5-10-5 drills.

Quickness

  • Training Focus: Quickness drills usually improve reaction time, explosive movements, and the ability to accelerate from a stationary position.
  • Examples: Reaction ball drills, sprint starts, explosive push-ups, and ball drops for reflex training
